The oldest lady Joan Hocquard died at 112 in Britain. Joan Hocquard born day was 29 march 1908 along with the world’s oldest man Bob Weighton who had died in Hampshire in May. Joan Hocquard had died in Dorset at her home on Saturday said by her nephew Paul Reynolds. Her Nephew has said that his aunt trusted that there was no confidential to a long life.
oan Hocquard had spent her early life in Kenya where her father was a British colonial officer.Mrs.Hocquard had gone to boarding school in Sussex and after that, she had worked as a cook at a hotel in Geneva.
How Mrs.Joan Hocquard died?
Joan Hocquard had died in Dorset at her home on Saturday said by her nephew Paul Reynolds. At the beginning of the world war two, she had driven an ambulance to the south coast where she suited a keen sailor, she had learnt to sail on the Solent when she was visiting her grandmother in Lymington.
Mrs.Hocquard got married to Gilbert Hocquard who had shared her love of sailing and travelling. when her husband had died in 1981, she visited to Liliput near Poole.
Mrs.Hocquard had always had a self-supporting spirit and that was classic of her that on her 100th birthday she denied a card form the queen because she did not want anyone to know about her age. She was recorder with Mr Weighton as they celebrated their 112th birthday in march.she was one of the most welcoming people imaginable. She also loved to have guests for the meal.
