On Wednesday, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has said that his administration will not buy China’s Sinovac vaccine for coronavirus. One of his fans has requested on social media to not to buy Sinovac vaccine from china against coronavirus. In response to him, President Jair Bolsonaro has said that we are so sure that we will not buy the Chinese vaccine at any cost. The Statement comes one day after the health minister has said that it would be included in the nation’s immunization program.
On Tuesday, Health Minister Eduardo Pazuello has confirmed in a meeting with state governors that the ministry would be able to buy the vaccine which is developed by Sinovac to include it in the immunization program, in addition to one developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University. As soon as the news came out, many people have urged Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to not to buy the vaccine. He has responded on social media that his administration will not buy Chinese vaccine for sure.
Why did he refuse to buy China’s sinovac vaccine?
